Brian Ferdinand (Managing Partner)

Brian Ferdinand is CorpHousing Group’s Managing Partner and is in charge of business strategy, new city launches, and overall brand positioning. He began his career in proprietary trading, founding ECHOtrade, LLC. His passionate vision guided ECHOtrade’s growth from a single employee to more than 900 licensed traders working globally across 13 offices. While with ECHOtrade, Ferdinand engineered its direct market access on the New York Stock Exchange, leading the firm to become the first Merrill Lynch and NYSE client to accomplish this feat. Throughout his career, he has consistently earned praise for his dedication to innovation and unique automation strategies, highlighted by the implementation of new models at ECHOtrade and the generation of more than $400 million dollars in trading profits over a 4-year period. Since transitioning from his trading career, Ferdinand has spent the last decade honing his residential and commercial real estate ownership expertise through investing in and managing sought-after properties, with timely involvement in the fast-growing short-term rental sector. Ferdinand studied in the master’s program for psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University and political science and government at the University of Kansas. Following his shift from a successful career in trading, he studied in the master’s program at The Cornell School of Hotel Administration for revenue management.

Edward Rogers (Partner & Head of Property acquisitions)

Edward Rogers is the head of property acquisitions for CorpHousing Group, working daily to target potential properties that align with the company’s rigorous criteria. At the start of his career, Rogers was a member of Legg Mason’s prestigious Chairman’s Council and Million Dollar Club, where he advised individual and corporate investors for 28 years. In this role, he acted as a strategic financial advisor, responsible for managing more than $150 million for individual and corporate investors, including company retirement plans. He has since become a private investor, while raising his four children EJ, Ben, Olivia, and Lindsay. Rogers graduated from Bowdoin College with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Jimmie Chatmon (Senior Partner and Executive Director)

Jimmie Chatmon is senior partner and executive director of CorpHousing Group. In this role, he oversees daily operations, managing all aspects of the business, including revenue generation, acquisitions, customer service, and corporate procedures. Along with the executive team, Chatmon’s progressive perspective has positively shaped the company’s structure and energetic environment. Chatmon earned a bachelor’s in business from the University of Miami with a focus on finance and accounting.

Lane Ferdinand (General Counsel)

Lane Ferdinand was born and raised in New Jersey, where he has practiced law for close to 40 years. Throughout his career, he has been a successful trial attorney on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. He is highly sought-after by major casualty insurance companies and large national corporations, as well as by other lawyers for his courtroom skills and expertise in negligence law and insurance disputes. In addition to being an active member of multiple trial and bar associations, Ferdinand is also an active lecturer in insurance law, general negligence, and medical issues confronting lawyers. He serves as an arbitrator in the New Jersey Superior Court Arbitration Program and maintains an active role of mediator in alternative dispute resolution matters. He is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a “Certified Trial Lawyer” and has the distinction of being selected as a “Super Lawyer” by his peers. Outside the practice of law, Ferdinand has served in various leadership capacities including president and/or board member for several community, charitable and private organizations. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University and the Seton Hall University School of Law.

Blake Oakland (Senior Advisor)

Blake Oakland brings industry expertise that has been invaluable to CorpHousing Group and affiliates in identifying and targeting inventory for its portfolio. He is the vice chairperson and head of multifamily investment sales for Newmark Knight Frank, the leading fully integrated global investment advisory and lending platform. Acting as a unifying figure for Newmark Knight Frank’s offices throughout the country, Oakland’s primary roles are to increase collaboration and improve service to clients nationwide by identifying and executing strategic initiatives, business lines and geographic expansion and recruiting. As the face of the brand, Oakland also leads business development nationally where he maintains relationships with large institutional clients to help the firm secure business and engage in complex national and global assignments. Since 2000, he has led and been meaningfully involved in multi-housing transactions worth more than $10 billion. Oakland is an executive committee member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC.)

EJ Rogers (Advisor)

EJ Rogers provides guidance on CorpHousing Group’s digital strategy, as well as website design and maintenance. He is a graduate of the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and is a product manager at Vylla.com, a residential home and lending platform.

Sharonda Adams (Operations Manager)

Sharonda Adams is CorpHousing Group’s operational supervisor, responsible for staff operations and unit maintenance in all activated cities. She works closely with the team in each city to foster strong relationships, ensuring that all outside vendors meet the same stringent, quality standards as CorpHousing Group. She holds a master’s degree in family and child therapy from the University of Miami.

John Moorer (Head of Customer Service)

John Moorer works with CorpHousing Group as the client customer relations coordinator in all areas of content creation, communications management, and customer care. He also co-leads the guest services team to ensure client and consumer satisfaction through established feedback channels. He is a Hofstra University graduate with over 20 years of experience in client/customer relations. His implementation of effective communication strategies has been instrumental in the company’s growth process.
